Why Choose a Campervan Holiday in Scotland?

Imagine waking up to the serene views of Loch Ness, or parking under the starry skies of the Scottish Highlands. Every day is a new chapter in your adventure story.

Planning Your Journey

  1. Setting Your Route: Scotland offers diverse landscapes, from rugged coastlines to mystical lochs. Begin by identifying key attractions you wish to explore. Use apps like ‘A Better Route Planner‘ to efficiently plan your route and charging stops. The VisitScotland website is also an excellent resource for route planning.
  2. Booking Your Campervan: Choose a reliable campervan hire service like EV Camper Company that offers eco-friendly, fully-equipped vehicles. Our campervans ensure comfort, convenience, and minimal environmental impact, aligning with your sustainable travel goals. You can meet our campervans here.
  3. Packing Essentials: Though EVCC campervans come equipped with necessities, it’s important to pack personal items. Include weather-appropriate clothing, hiking gear, and a camera to capture the scenic views.
  4. Campsite Reservations: Scotland has numerous campsites to choose from. For campsites with electric hookups, consider the Camping and Caravan Club for reliable facilities.
  5. Charger App Usage: Enhance your journey with charger apps like ‘ZapMap’ to check charger statuses and ‘ChargePlace Scotland’ for local charging points. These tools ensure you’re always powered up and ready to explore.
  6. Local Experiences: Enrich your journey by engaging with local culture. Plan to visit local markets and historical sites and try regional cuisine. Websites like ScottishCamping.com can guide you to unique local experiences.
